About us

When you choose Junee Tourist Park for your accommodation you will have the opportunity to visit the now Famous Junee Licorice & Chocolate Factory, Monte Cristo Haunted Mansion, or the Junee Railway Roundhouse - the largest of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere.
Junee is a Historic Railway Town of approx 4000 people and is situated on the Olympic Highway halfway between Sydney and Melbourne, we are also an alternative route from Melbourne to Queensland (the quieter alternative).
Junee is surrounded by the Shires of Coolamon, Temora, Cootamundra, Gundagai, and the City of Wagga Wagga and is ideally located to use as your base for visiting the region. Its south eastern edge is framed by the banks of the Murrumbidgee River while the remaining undulating, fertile pastoral cultivated country is broken only by the small villages of Illabo, Bethungra, Wantabadgery and Old Junee.
