Jayco Newcastle has done it again. This time it received the top gong for the Motor Traders Association's (MTA) New Vehicle Dealer of The Year award.
This is a remarkable achievement for the dealership as it is the first time a non-car dealer has won the prestigious motor industry award.
The MTA represents more than 4000 motor trade businesses in NSW and ACT. The awards ceremony was held at the Hilton Hotel, Sydney and attended by more than 300 motoring businesses and special guests.
Chief Executive Officer Greg Patten said, "The evening was a fabulous night to acknowledge the achievements of so many MTA members, all members chosen as finalists for this year's awards should be extremely proud. The calibre of entrants was outstanding".
Jayco Newcastle has been operating in the Hunter region for more than 30 years and its Heatherbrae complex is set on five acres. At any time there is a complete range of 100 new and used caravans as well as a spare parts and accessories department and state-of-the-art repair and service centre.
The dealership is described by owner of the Jayco Corporation Gerry Ryan as world class.
"We are very proud of Jayco Newcastle and to win this coveted MTA award is a truly outstanding achievement", he said.
The MTA award comes on top of other industry awards they have received this year - the Hunter Business Awards Customer Service Excellence award and the Caravan and Camping Industry Association of NSW Awards of Excellence - Best NSW Regional Dealer award.
Customer service is a key component of our business, owner Damian Charleson said.
