The Mundubbera Three Rivers Tourist Park is two and a half hours drive from Bundaberg and Maryborough, three and a half hours from Rockhampton and four hours from Brisbane.
Situated in the heart of the North Burnett region, it is only minutes from the mighty Burnett River, the Boyne River and the Auburn River.
The A3 Country Way Burnett Highway with its many side trips and attractions is seen as a viable route for caravanners and other travellers as they make their way north for the winter and south for the summer.
Fresh water fishing is a significant attraction in the North Burnett. With greater restrictions on salt water anglers and reduced catches, many keen fishermen are regularly utilizing the regions well stocked impoundments.
The region encompasses six main townships - Biggenden, Eidsvold, Gayndah, Monto, Mt Perry and Mundubbera which service around twenty-five villages and farming catchments.
The area is home to one of the leading citrus producing regions in Australia. Local packing and processing co-operatives supply national and international markets with fresh produce and large quantities of juice concentrate are produced for use by major beverage companies.
Mundubbera Three Rivers Tourist Park accommodation options include fully self-contained Killala Villas and Units, both with ensuite, air-conditioning and full cooking facilities, Log Cabins and Camp-O-Tels (like a tee-pee) for those who want a tent-like experience, without bringing the tent, together with spacious powered $35 or unpowered $29 sites suitable for large motorhomes and caravans, all with concrete slabs, TV connections, and powered and unpowered grassed tent areas for campers.
