Search, compare and book the perfect site for your rig before hitting the road. You’ll find both powered and unpowered caravan sites available at parks and campgrounds in every state in the country. CamperMate's massive online directory makes it easy to find suitable accommodation for your camper trailer, caravan or motorhome: browse from your computer, phone or tablet from anywhere in Australia, any time of the day.
When your washing is piling up, your battery’s on the blink, and the only water you’ve got left is what you can siphon from a creek, there’s a lot to be said for plugging your rig into a powered caravan site.
For the price of a steak dinner, a powered site gives you constant access to electricity and clean water, as well as sullage and dump point, showers and bathrooms, sheltered kitchens, security, and priceless conversation with a bunch of fellow road travellers.
Powered sites are suited to all rigs, including caravans, camper trailers, campervans and motorhomes. Got your fur-baby along for the adventure? You’ll find powered sites are also pet friendly more often than not, too!
With over 650 caravan parks listed on CamperMate, you can browse powered caravan and motorhome sites in destinations all around Australia. Enter your preferred location and we’ll show you a heap of different options in the area, and a few different booking options to get you on your way.
“Instant Book” lets you lock in your site, with all the payment business sorted out upfront. Got questions about the park or any special requirements? Use “Request to Book” to shoot us a message and we’ll take it from there. We also provide the park’s contact details so you can reach the manager directly.
No two adventures are the same, that’s why we’re all about options and flexibility. Use the filters on the left to narrow down caravan parks and campgrounds that have the exact features you’re after.
Here’s some important points to consider when booking a powered campsite, as well as a few questions to ask upfront to ensure your caravan holiday turns out just right.
Know the length and height of your caravan, and let the park know if your rig is on the bigger side so they can allocate a powered site to suit.
Consider your site’s proximity to amenities like shower blocks and kitchen. You don’t want to be too far from the bathroom, but you don’t want to be right next to it either!
Is the site a concrete slab, gravel or grass? Slabs ensure even ground and will give you some relief from muddy puddles if it rains.
If you’re towing, consider asking for a drive through site whenever possible to make pulling up quick and easy.
